Fun Not Foul — Fair Play, Respect Everyone

Server Rules

Welcome to the McBeth Gaming 7 Days to Die servers! Our goal is to create a fun, family-friendly community where everyone can enjoy the game together. By joining our servers, you agree to follow these rules.

01

Respect Everyone

Treat all players with respect. Harassment, bullying, hate speech, racism, sexism, personal attacks, threats, and trolling will not be tolerated. Friendly banter is welcome. Toxic behavior is not.

02

Family-Friendly Community

McBeth Gaming is built around our motto: Fun Not Foul. Excessive profanity, sexual content, offensive language, political arguments, religious attacks, harassment, and inappropriate usernames are not permitted.

03

Age Policy

Players must be 18 or older. The only exceptions are administrators' children playing while accompanied and supervised by their parent.

04

No Cheating or Exploiting

Cheating of any kind is prohibited. This includes hacks, trainers, scripts, macros, ESP, speed hacks, duplication glitches, exploiting bugs, and unauthorized third-party software. If you discover a bug, report it. Do not abuse it.

05

No Griefing

Do not intentionally interfere with another player's gameplay. This includes destroying another player's base, digging underneath bases, blocking entrances, removing supports, trapping players, luring zombies, and destroying another player's work.

06

No Zombie-Fighting Pits

Do not dig holes, pits, or trenches specifically to trap, slow down, or fight zombies. Zombie-fighting pits and similar terrain exploits are not permitted.

07

Respect Player Property

Do not loot another player's storage, crafting stations, or death bags. Do not harvest another player's crops, take obvious property, or destroy decorations. If it isn't yours, leave it alone.

08

Building Rules

Build responsibly. Do not block roads, bridges, or important routes, build around spawn, build inside another player's claim, or build too close to interfere with others. Respect your neighbors.

09

Trader & Donor City Protection Zone

No player may build, claim, mine, farm, plant trees, or create any permanent structure within 200 meters of any Trader or Donor City. This includes main bases, horde bases, Land Claim Blocks, underground bases, storage buildings, crafting areas, mining operations, tunnels, and quarries. Structures or mines found within the protected area may be removed by staff.

10

Land Claims

Use Land Claim Blocks responsibly. Do not overlap another player's claim or intentionally prevent others from expanding their base. Claim limits are based on your community rank and are listed in our Discord.

11

POIs

Only approved POIs may be claimed as permanent bases. Please leave major quest POIs available for the community.

12

Loot Etiquette

Help keep POIs usable for everyone. Avoid intentionally destroying loot containers, bookshelves, safes, and end loot rooms.

13

Active Quests

If another player has activated a quest at a POI, do not enter it, do not loot it, and do not interfere with their quest.

14

Mining

Mining is encouraged. However, do not mine underneath another player's base, create dangerous pits near roads or bases, or mine within 200 meters of any Trader or Donor City. Please cover your mine back up when you are finished so no one falls in it. Help keep the world safe and enjoyable for everyone.

15

No Drop Mining

Drop mining is not allowed. Do not dig straight down or create unsafe vertical shafts. All mines must have a safe staircase or ramp that players can use to enter and exit.

16

No Tree Farms

Tree farms are not permitted due to the lag they cause on the servers. Staff may remove any tree farms found in the world.

17

Community Areas

Community builds belong to everyone. Do not destroy them, claim them, remove decorations, or modify them without permission. Help keep shared areas looking great.

18

Horde Night Courtesy

Fight your own Blood Moon horde. Do not intentionally drag your horde to another player's base unless everyone involved agrees beforehand.

19

Server Performance

Please avoid builds that negatively impact server performance. This includes excessive lighting, massive electrical systems, excessive traps, extremely large farms, and anything intentionally designed to create lag. Staff may ask you to modify these builds.

20

Vehicles

Do not steal, destroy, hide, or intentionally move another player's vehicle.

21

Vehicle Respawners

Do not break vehicle respawners — the tire left over after wrenching a vehicle. These are part of the server's vehicle respawn system, and destroying them prevents vehicles from respawning in that location. Leave them in place for the whole community.

22

Advertising

Advertising is not permitted without staff approval. This includes other servers, Discord communities, livestreams, products, and social media.

23

Respect Staff

Please respect moderators and administrators. If you disagree with a decision, open a Discord ticket instead of arguing in Global Chat. Staff decisions are final unless reviewed by server administration.

24

Report Problems

If someone breaks the rules, take screenshots or video if possible, open a Discord ticket, do not retaliate, and allow staff to investigate.

25

Inactive Bases

Inactive bases may be removed after an extended period. Staff will attempt to contact the owner first whenever possible.

26

Spirit of the Rules

Not every situation can be covered by written rules. If an action gives an unfair advantage, hurts another player, or goes against the spirit of fair play, staff may take action even if it's not listed here. When in doubt, ask a staff member.

27

Two-Strike Policy

First Strike — A staff member will speak with you about the rule violation and issue a formal warning. Second Strike — If you violate the rules again after your first warning, you will be permanently removed from the server. Severe violations — including cheating, hacking, exploit abuse, hate speech, threats, ban evasion, impersonating staff, or malicious griefing — may result in immediate permanent removal.

Fun Not Foul. Survive Together.

Thank you for helping make McBeth Gaming an amazing place to survive!
